Found this article in the local news.
No one was hurt in a car fire in Wausau. It happened around 3 p.m. Thursday in the 2200 block of Grand Avenue. A Wausau Fire Lieutenant says when crews arrived on scene the front part of the vehicle was on fire. No one was in the vehicle at the time. Firefighters say it took them a few minutes to put the fire out. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
I'm pretty sure the location of the car likely has a fair amount to do with the cause of the fire.

It likely was caused by the fuel rail leaking onto the manifold and onto the exhaust, a friend of mine had this issue on his old Impala. it was a write-off.
